We stuck marble tile on to the firebox front display with PL Premium. After the fire getting really hot a few times the toxic smell coming from the fire bagan to be unbearable. I called the PL Premium company and they said it was only good up to 200 degrees Fh. My Husband ripped it off and we are now planning on sticking new tile there. We went to Home Depot and no-one there can help us as to what adhesive to use. One man said masonry sealtight, but that said on the package that it can not be stuck to metal. Please if you have information as to what adhesive to stick our new tile to the front of our beautiful fireplace we would greatly appreciate your help.
