I have a free standing stove with a 6" collar. The stove sits inside an old coal burning fireplace opening. The bricks in my chimney are arranged so that I can't fit a 6" pipe up the chimney. Can I remove or break those bricks loose in order to make this work. Currently there is a 4" pipe that works for the most part, the stove smokes if not burning very hot.
Any suggestions would be very helpfull.
