My new wood burning stove is turning white. Nobody seems to know why. Someone suggested we've been making it too hot, but we've only used it for a few hours in the evenings and followed all instructions about what to burn etc. We also keep it quite low as the room gets too hot otherwise. It's not the paint. It's as if the metal is turning pale and it's spreading. Can anyone advise?
