Over the years I have seen many antique soapstone bed warmers. Recently I bought an old iron rack just the right size and shape for holding such a soapstone warmer when it was being heated in an open firepalce. I can't find any reference to another one on the Internet or in my available reference books. Does anyone know if there actually were such holders? Or was my holder made for something else? Thank you.
